Shooters Gets a Fresh Start: MGK Brings New Energy to the Flats
Big changes are coming to one of the city’s iconic riverside spots. Shooters On The Water, a staple in the Flats for 37 years, is getting a major refresh—and Cleveland’s own MGK is leading the charge.

The revamped venue, renamed Shooters Yacht Club, will bring Florida-inspired vibes, live music, and updated flair to the West Bank of the Flats. Renovations will kick off soon, and the new Shooters is set to reopen in summer 2025. Expect a mix of nostalgic charm and fresh energy that promises to make it a hotspot for locals and visitors alike.
This is MGK’s second Cleveland venture (remember 27 Club Coffee?). It’s great to see a hometown hero invest in Cleveland’s future, bringing more buzz and life to our beloved city. Shooters Yacht Club is set to be a vibrant new chapter for the Flats—and we can’t wait to grab a table by the river.
P.S. Start planning your 2025 summer nights. Shooters is about to shine again! 🌟

🏈Friday Night Lights
Avon (13-0) vs Highland (13-0)
This Friday, two powerhouse teams—Avon and Highland—face off in a regional championship rematch. Both teams are undefeated (13-0), and with their incredible strength in the trenches, this one promises to be a battle of wills.
Avon’s Eagles have dominated this rivalry, winning six of the last seven playoff matchups. But Highland’s Hornets, led by standout running back Casey Myser and their powerhouse offensive line, are looking for revenge after last year’s tough loss. Avon coach Mike Elder knows the key to victory will be winning at the line of scrimmage and containing Highland’s relentless run game.
If you’re looking for a game packed with talent, history, and heart, this one’s it. Friday night, Elyria—don’t miss it! 🏆 Go Eagles! 🦅
