📸Thanksgiving In Cleveland History

When many Clevelanders were struggling during the Great Depression, George and Alma Dallas provided meal boxes from their West 3rd restaurant.

Known as the “Samaritans of West 3rd”, they handed out meals to over 10,000 people at its peak in 1932. (Full story)

The Ohio State Patrol is cracking down on impaired driving and seatbelt enforcement this holiday weekend. Let’s all make sure we get where we are going safely.

My tip…whenever I get upset at someone on the road, I pretend it’s my Grandmother behind the wheel of the other car. I instantly calm down and it reminds me of her famous cookies.

🏈Friday Night Lights Preview

Avon vs Archbishop Hoban

Avon and Hoban square off in the Division II State Semi-final tonight at InfoCision Stadium in Akron. This marks the sixth time in eight years they will play, with Hoban taking the last two. The game is supposed to be played at a neutral site, but it is being played 1 mile from Hoban.

It will be a tough test for our hometown Eagles, but we believe! Go Avon!

St. Edwards vs Olentangy Liberty

Despite a rocky regular season, St. Eds has turned up in the playoffs to make it to the Division I State Semi-final. This will be a showdown of two great programs. Good luck Eagles!
