☕ Know what a Michelin Key is? The Fidelity Hotel just got one
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH CHRIS SCHLENKERMAN AND THE COLLABORATIVE HOME SALES GROUP

Good morning, Westsiders.
Quick thanks to everyone who participated in our Walk the Westside fundraiser — whether you donated, spread the word, voted on a charity, or came out to cheer us on. The funds have officially been donated, and you all made a huge difference.
Jodie and I still can't believe we get to do this and call it a job.
Let's get into it.

Worth a Look: A Private, Rocky River Home

12 Chippenham Court, Rocky River
If you've been watching the West Hampton community in Rocky River, here's one worth checking out.
Located on a quiet cul-de-sac in Rocky River’s West Hampton community, this 4-bed, 3.5-bath cluster home balances comfort, style, and space.
Inside, the great room has those high ceilings and built-ins people love, plus a floor-to-ceiling fireplace fit for a Cavs player. The kitchen’s equipped with granite countertops, double ovens, and an island where people can actually sit.
Primary suite's on the first floor with a glass patio and spa bath. There's a second suite upstairs for guests or family. The expanded patio's a nice bonus, and since it's a cluster home, someone else handles the yard work.
4,468 sq. ft. | 4 bed | 3.5 bath | $599,000

Impett Park sponsored by KeyBank? 📍 Cleveland
Cleveland City Council is kicking around the idea of selling naming rights for public parks — not just stadiums and arenas anymore. They’ve brought in a local consulting group to figure out how much money the city could raise, with the proceeds going toward park improvements.
Supporters say it’s a creative way to bring in cash for green spaces. Critics worry it could give big sponsors too much influence over where those dollars actually go.
What do you think?
Is allowing corporations to sponsor city owned parks a good or bad idea? |
High Honor For Boutique Hotel 📍 Downtown

Cleveland’s Fidelity Hotel just took home a Michelin Key — the only property in Ohio to do so. Out of 2,457 hotels worldwide and just 317 in the U.S. with this honor, it’s a badge reserved for the best of the best. Michelin only started handing out Keys in 2024, making this a pretty big deal for the Cleveland hospitality scene.

Two Students Turned Carlisle Lagoon Into a Spooky Hollow 📍 Lagrange

If you haven’t checked out the Pumpkin Lagoon at Carlisle Reservation yet, it’s worth the trip. Two local students, Gus Dimascio and Zoe Hilton, dreamed up the idea and turned the lagoon into a full-on spooky hollow for the sold-out Halloween Fair.
When the sun sets and the pumpkins start glowing across the water, it’s pure magic — like a Halloween postcard come to life. People from all over the Westside have been coming out just to see it light up the night.
WESTSIDE POUR OVER
🔒 North Olmsted: Thirteen new Flock safety cameras are coming to Lorain, Stearns, and Country Club Drive, helping police solve crimes and sort out traffic accident disputes.
🤸 Avon Lake: The city is looking to purchase former Erieview Elementary School from the school system for $500,000. The city would then repurpose the facility into a community center for recreational programming of all ages.
📞 North Ridgeville: Two North Ridgeville Mayor’s Court employees, Stacey Dennison and Haley Edleman, are being celebrated for their quick thinking and compassion after recognizing a caller’s stroke symptoms, staying calm under pressure, and helping save her life.

You Must Purchase One (1) Beer to Sing 📍 Gordon Square

Mrs. Buzz gifted one of these shirts to Mr. Buzz for his birthday. That’s love.
If you’ve ever stepped into Tina’s Niteclub, you know it’s more than a karaoke bar—it’s a Cleveland legend that comes alive at 10 PM every weekend. The kind of place where wedding parties, dive-bar regulars, and total strangers belt out “Like a Virgin” together under neon lights.
Now, two local filmmakers are turning that magic into a documentary. Nicole Rossa, a stand-up comic with credits from SXSW to the BBC, and Mike Wendt, a Cleveland native who’s worked on Captain America: Winter Soldier and My Friend Dahmer, have filmed the story of Tina’s and launched an Indiegogo campaign to finish it.
They’re raising $6,000 for post-production, marketing, and festival submissions. In true Tina’s fashion, the rewards are wild: koozies, T-shirts, your name in a parody karaoke song—or even a private karaoke party with the filmmakers.
If you’ve ever sung your heart out at Tina’s (or wish you had), now’s your chance to help bring this iconic Westside dive to the big screen.
POLL REVIEW
Buzz Nation Weighs In on Downtown Golf Carts

Yes - 54%, Maybe - 24%, No way - 22%
With 54% of the vote in Friday’s poll, the majority of you would be willing to take a golf cart ride downtown if it becomes available.
Here are some of the responses we got from you all:

Would be interested to know how long the trip was

Leslie brings up some great points

This was the most popular response against it
With these types of tours already operating, I would guess that we will see golf carts downtown soon. We will have to wait and see.
