The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame just announced its 2025 inductees, and what a lineup! Here are some highlights:

Balloon dogs for a heartwarming cause | Crocker Park

Cleveland-area high school students have launched the "Hope Heroes" campaign featuring giant inflatable balloon dogs touring Northeast Ohio, with their next stop at Crocker Park in Westlake from April 25 to May 5. 

The initiative, created by students from the Excel TECC Marketing program at Beachwood High School, has already raised an impressive $228,000 to fund facility dogs at local children's hospitals where these four-legged friends provide comfort and joy to chronically ill children.

Visitors to the Crocker Park installation can enjoy the large balloon dog display while supporting this student-led campaign that combines artistic creativity with compassionate healthcare.

The first Juju’s Dino Dash was successful | North Olmsted

The first Juju's Dino Dash drew an incredible crowd of over 1,000 participants to North Olmsted's Springvale Golf Course on April 12, honoring the memory of 3-year-old Julian Myles Wood who tragically lost his life last year in a random act of violence.

This heartwarming community event not only celebrated the joyful spirit of young Julian but also raised funds for North Olmsted student scholarships, with Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones sharing that Julian's family plans to make this an annual tradition. Via John Benson, Cleveland.com

🥱 (Yawn) Cavs extinguish Heat in 4

The Cavs made light work of the 8-seed Heat in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. It is mid-way through the 3rd quarter as I write this, and they are winning game 4 by a million. Safe to say the sweep is fully in control.

Kenny Atkinson’s squad will go on to face either the Bucks or the Pacers in the next round of the playoffs.

Upcoming schedule:

The Cavs are going to have a few days off, which is great because it will give Darius Garland time to rest his ailing toe. Their next game could be as soon as this weekend, depending on the outcome of the Bucks and Pacers.
