October is Down Syndrome Awareness month, and an Avon Lake Coffee and Wine bar is more than doing its part. Emilie’s Coffee House donated a portion of sales for the month, totaling $30,000!💰 Consider stopping by before the end of the month to add to the total that will be donated to Santoro Lab at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

If you are familiar with the Giant Eagle in Rocky River on Center Ridge and the smell of bacon makes your heart flutter, you will love this. The popular breakfast spot Scrambler’s is opening up its third Westside location in the old Chase bank branch.

🎃Trick Or Treat Days and Time By City
I believe there are two types of people in this world: those who pick out their Halloween costume in July and carefully curate each piece, and those who throw together a quick Jim from the office style (🙂+📕) the night before. I am definitely the latter…

Wag-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest @ Pins Mechanical from 6-8 PM. If you missed the Lakewood Pooch Parade don’t miss your chance to put a funny costume on your reluctant 🐕🦺 pup. Tony Skinner: In Plain Sight - Come to the BAYarts campus for a gallery talk with the figurative artist and illustrator, Tony Skinner. Recently featured on New Day Cleveland, his work deals with the housing insecurity epidemic in America. Located at the Sullivan Family Gallery from 6:30-8:30 PM
Variations: New Work by Patty Flauto - This abstract exhibit located at the River Arts Gallery ends November 5th. If you are into the abstract and esoteric, check this out before it leaves the gallery. Artists proceeds to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge In Cleveland.
